Segata Sanshiro Shrine

Segata Sanshiro Shrine is a tongue-in-cheek, to-the-point videogame blog that runs the geeky gamut from toys to Tokusatsu. Our name comes from our dedication to a man named Segata Sanshiro (henceforth simply referred to as "The Man Himself"), a powerful Judo master who would beat people to a pulp if they did not play Sega Saturn (he was, after all, the mascot for Sega Saturn in Japan). His reign of awesomeness came to an end when he deflected a missile that would have destroyed the Dreamcast launch. He did this, mind you, with his bare hands. Thus, this blog exists in his honor.

The opinions expressed here are not absolute. We may review something three or four times, if not more. Different authors may be used, or perhaps a different angle covered. One review of God of War could destroy it's very foundation of gameplay mechanics while another could focus on the detail of Kratos' chest. Our reviews are an experiment, getting to the point that we're trying to make quickly, whatever that currently may be.
