I've always wondered why the Koopas were so dangerous, I mean you at worst got fire breath on you. When I first concieved this comic it was a more serious concept, but I was rightly convinced by my friend, Clovis, that a more comedic tone would serve the comic well with readership. I still however had a more serious story I wanted to tell, and you've just witnessed early forshadowing of that (in addition to the answer to my childhood question, how are Koopa's dangerous). I've tried to keep the tone as mixed as possible keeping some humor elements despite the obvious serious situation. As an aside it's thanks to The Mortal Kombat Warehouse for the blood sprites I used. Oh and the evil Lemmy grin was custom edited by me, if anyone was wondering.
