We are going to try a new game here. The first person will give a phrase, complete with punctuation as if it were an actual sentence, that may well be completel gibberish; however, it will actually sound like the name of something if said quickly out loud.
EXAMPLE:
"Draw gun... wage? Oh, ridge in!"
(Dragon Age Origin)
Now for the rules (there will also be provisional rules for the first five rounds listed after the normal rules)...
NORMAL RULES:
- The first to get something correct will get 1 point, and the right to run the next round.
- Only names of things - or extremely iconic phrases - will be considered valid subject matter. The material drawn from must be validly allowable from the same rules as set forth in Guess that Character, there will be a 3 point penalty for repeated offenses to the contrary.
- This is a much faster game that GTC, if you take more than three days to start the next round you will lose your turn and the Forum Alarm Clock gets to go.
- If the Forum Alarm Clock has to take it from himself, then hell freezes over from a temporal paradox; once the ensuing Armageddon finishes, any member of management who wants to first may take a turn.
- If the round runner does not declare a winner after a week, but there is also an answer that everyone else clearly agrees is the winner, the round runner loses his point and that person becomes the winner even if he actually had something else in mind.
- Although it will sometimes be necessary to finish your phrase for people to solve, there may be actions taken if your phrase contains soo many spurrious extra sounds that people have exceptional trouble solving it.
FIRST ROUND:
"Nom, or he rows too!"
"There is no beauty in the flower that is not shared."
