The Crew of the Outlaw Star are trying to find the Galctic Leyline for varying reasons, outlaws all, they are best described as treasure hunters. They do not dabble in illegal activity, but are a private enterprise of sorts. WARNING this Bio section assumes the viewer has basic knowledge of the series, SOME spoilers may occur if the viewer has not seen the first 4 episodes, read at your own risk.

	Native of Earth, Gene Starwind has lived on Sentinel III ever since he was ejected from an escape pod from a space ship that his father died in. Gene is the captain of the Outlaw Star once he finds it with the help of Hot Ice Hilda, an Outlaw who brought him back into space. He uses a special weapon called a Caster Gun that shoots magic spells that have been condensed into small bullets called "Caster Shells". Gene is a little letcherous but he has a good heart.
	Jim Hawking is a son of a well known computer hacker. The Yin to Gene's yang. He is a planner and is very intelligent and methodical. Being the youngest member of the crew, he gets a lot of jabs from Gene.
	Melfina, a genetically engineered human, she is made to find the Galactic Leyline. She interfaces with the XGP/Outlaw Star as a navigator. Her quest is one of self discovery.
	Though registered as a crewmember of Outlaw Star, "Hot Ice" Hilda never served on it. She has a longstanding rivalry with the Kei Pirates, and is the one who got Gene, Jim and Melfina together through a series of events started by her own searching for Melfina. Hilda taught Gene everything he knows about Outlaws. Hilda died on Farfallas (a sun) when trying to escape Kei Pirates and board the XGP. She was held back by the young female Kei Pirate of the first arc and then detonated an explosive. It was her death that inspired Gene to name the XGP the Outlaw Star.
	Twilight Suzuka is an assasin. She first meets Gene when she tries to kill Fred Lowe; Gene manages to damage her pride in a battle, and since then she vowed to kill Gene before Fred, however after she lkearns Gene is against the Kei Pirates she loans her talents and becomes an on and off member of the Outlaw Star.
	Aisha Clan Clan has a long strip of events intertwined with Gene starting when Hilda, Gene, Jim, and Melfina left Blue Haven and had a game of chicken with her ship. Asha is a Ctarl-Ctarl and is very warrior-minded. She thinks the Galactic Leyline is made of Dragonite, a rare metal that is used to power starships.
	Gillium-2 is the ship's navicomputer and has an interesting personality, a "permanent" member of the crew so to speak, Gilliam does a lot of work on the ship. Jim and Gillium get along quite well.
